It’s a beautiful day.

So I slept on a couch last night, and I was woken up by U2’s “Beautiful Day” blasting from the kitchen. Let’s just say, I should start every day the way I started today, because today was truly one of the best days ever.  Here’s a checklist of the (Paul Castro voice) AMAZING things that happened today:

  • Saw the film Terri starring James C. Reilly with my best friends
  • Made peanut butter and banana sandwiches for all the boys
  • Met someone’s pet wolf, for real
  • Saw the film Slacker, and left early because it sucked
  • Ran into James Cromwell at a coffee shop, approached him, talked to him, got a picture with him and got him to hug me
  • Saw K’NAAN, my favorite artist, and got a picture with him

Ran into an adorable Spanish-speaking family here filming a documentary for HBO, got them to come back to our house for an interview, got their business cards and got them to interview us to be in the documentary

Can you say… best day EVER?

Certainly sounds like the best day ever! Glad to see you are having fun and meeting some awesome people! Loved the pic of you and James Cromwell. He still looks the same as he did in the movie “Babe” that you watched over and over when you were younger!

Gabby, It certainly sounds like you are having a great time. It’s wonderful that you are afforded such great opportunities. And, I agree with your mom that James Cromwell looks just like he did in BABE.

I heard you can get around town on free transportation. Hope you guys found that to be true.

  4. Papa Dinnin says:

Gabby, you are the best. I love introducing myself to people I want to know. You should be passing out cards with your contact info. I’ll be watching the News for a national interview. Have fun. Papa.
